Walking in the footsteps of the brown bear

Welcome to a unique hiking in Europe's most brown bear dense area. Here on the boundary between Gästrikland, Dalarna and Hälsingland, the Swedish brown have their favorite habitat. With a skilled guide in small groups, we walk in the bear's footsteps. Via trails, small forest roads and bare land the guide leads us to places frequently visited by both bears, moose and wolves.

You will learn a lot about the bear's life and behavior but also about other animals. At Sweden's wildest sand beach, it is time for a long lunch break where you are served delights with hints of wild and locally produced food. We make coffee over open fire. After lunch we walk on to finally come back to the starting point and the car.
